Steel-cut oats protein bowl

Its all happening in this bowl...Steel-cut oats, cacao nibs, cinnamon, fresh fruit, pure peanut butter, spirulina powder, chia seeds and the list goes on. Its basically just filled with goodness, you're welcome!

1 cup steel-cut oats

1 tablespoons cacao nibs

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon peanut butter (try to use organic, or at least the sugar free and salt free option. You can use any nut butter that you would prefer)

Fresh berries of your choice

1 Kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced

1/2 small papaya fruit, peeled and sliced

Handful of fresh strawberries

Place a small to medium sized pot on the stove and place the oats and cacao nibs into the pot. Add 1-2 cups of boiling water, just enough to cover the oats and bring to the boil. Once the oats are boiling lower the heat and allow the oats to simmer for 8-10 minutes. Make sure the oats has used up all the water or else the oats is going to be too runny.

Add a pinch of salt, stir, and then place in your serving bowl. Add your fruits and garnish with the chia seeds and if you have pomogranate seeds add those too - the more the merrier!
